One of
our progress at the school is the percentage of passess in
the national primary school ins and exams. Every year the
school trains and sends class six pupils for national exams
and the results are of 100% passess which is one of the
schools’ main aim.
In
addition school is running volunteer program inviting many
volunteers from different part of the world who have come to
serve as teachers of various subjects. They all
signifficantly have contributed to the progres of the
school. Their worki is very appreciated by pupils and their
parents.
For
2008-2009 academic year the school send nineteen pupils for
national exams and all of them came out with very good
results which took them to their various secondary school of
choices. 2009-2010 the school trained and send twenty three
pupils.
For
school activities his year the school was involved in an
excursion trip to the beach in the first term of the school
year. The school year ended up with a graduation ceremony
for nursery pupils going to class one and class six pupils
going to their various secondary schools of choices.

Thanksgiving Service
is to take place on 27th of April.
Every year we hold our thanksgiving service at the school.
This program is held annually to thank God for His unfading
Grace and Mercies. This year's service is proposed to be
held at the Methodist Boys High School after which a match
past of both old and new pupils, teachers, parents and well
-wishers will take place. Bands of secondary schools will be
in attendance to provide music.
One
of our programs this year school year considers excursion
(outing). This has been scheduled for Saturday 28th of
March 2009. In the past years we have been confined to our
community only. Children at Rhema School are very open and
excited to see new places and get to know new people. Our aim to organize this outing is to have a
sight viewing of important places, buildings and communities
where other children are residing and to expose them.
New
building site - We have acquired a piece of land at the
lower Thunder Hill Community. Thanks be to God for some
parents in the community. Presently, we are facing a very
difficult task in teaching the children. The teaching
situation is not very conductive. That is to say, all the
classes are almost clustered together in one hall without
proper divisions. In the process of teaching the children
are easily distracted by another teacher, who is teaching in
his/her own class.
National
Exams - Since our in caption in 2000 we have produced
children who have come out with flying colors at National
Exams level known here in Sierra Leone as the National
Primary School Examinations (N.P.S.E.). This is a transition
period from the Primary School to the Junior Secondary
School. Some of our products are now in universities, tech.
voc. institutes, senior secondary schools and even overseas
pursuing higher education. |
